Pupils from across Derbyshire enjoyed free sporting summer camps held at Ilkeston Rugby club.
The two week event catered for around 40 primary school pupils.
The youngsters were keen to embrace the outdoor fun and games, taking part in a range of sporting activities including rugby, football and volleyball.
The summer programme was made possible due to the efforts of Derbyshire county councillor, Michelle Booth who obtained the necessary funding.
Her contribution to the local community ensured all those involved received an exhilarating, entertaining experience.
The camp was organised by the sports coaches at REAL Education, which uses the facilities of the ELKS education trust, based at Hallam Fields Road, Ilkeston. The REAL staff put the rugby pitches to good use and held mini tournaments.
The camp provided something for everyone without an Xbox in sight.
