Bolsover School pupils who volunteered to do a charity bag-pack over the festive season have raised hundreds of pounds for poorly children.

The pupils combined the money they raised at Bolsover Co-op with money from a previous fundraising drive to Chesterfield Royal Hospital’s Nightingale Ward.

A cheque for £1,826.35 was presented to the Nightingale Ward hospital staff when the pupils visited them on Monday.

The ward cares for children aged up to 17.
