Eckington Swimming Pool set to close for a month
Eckington Swimming Pool will close for a month from 9pm on Friday as North East Derbyshire District Council continues with its £1.3million transformation programme.
Work still to be completed includes the removal of the small pool to allow for the refurbishment, an extension of the gym from 30 to 50 stations, the provision of a new studio and multi-use area and the refurbishment of the reception area and the changing facilities. It will help meet demand for health and fitness activities.
