Derbyshire County Council’s Eat Well road show – aimed at older people who are underweight – is set to visit Bolsover.
The Eat Well campaign is aimed at older people who are unintentionally losing weight – as well as their family and carers.
The campaign will help residents spot the symptoms in elderly friends, relatives and other older people we come into contact with.
About three million older people in the UK are malnourished. Malnutrition and dehydration cause serious health problems − including infections like colds and flu, depression and falls – and is a common cause of admission to hospitals and care homes.
The road show will be at Bolsover Co-op between 9.30am and 3pm on Wednesday, August 15.
