Dry and bright day for Derbyshire
The Met Office is forecasting a mainly dry and bright day for Derbyshire and the East Midlands today, Wednesday February 25, with cloud and rain arriving later.
There will be light winds with bright or sunny spells this morning though it will become cloudy and breezier during the afternoon, with outbreaks of light rain arriving in the evening. It will be a rather chilly day, but becoming milder later as rain arrives, with a maximum temperature of nine degrees centigrade.
It will be cloudy and breezy overnight, mainly dry with patchy light rain at times, though heavier persistent rain will arrive in the west towards the end of the night. The minimum temperature will be five degrees centigrade.
