A daughter found her mum dead when she returned home from university for the summer holidays.

Louise White, 45, of Holmley Lane, Dronfield, was found dead by her daughter, Charlotte, on Tuesday, Chesterfield coroners’ court heard during an opening inquest this morning.

Mrs White, a manager at the Department for Work and Pensions in Sheffield, had a history of depression, the hearing was told.

Nigel Anderson, assistant coroner for Derby city and Derbyshire, said police had not found any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Another hearing will take place in September.
