The best motorcycle riders in the world are revving up for a contest in our region’s showpiece arena.
A star-studded international line-up will be competing for the King of Sheffield crown at the city’s Motorpoint Arena on Saturday, January 7.
The competitiors in the 2012 Sheffield Arena Trial includes the awesome Repsol Montesa mounted double World Champion Toni Bou, World number two and Gas Gas number one Adam Raga, crowd pleaser and ex World Champion Takahisa Fujinami (Repsol Montesa) and last but not least riding the tried and tested Ossa, Jeroni Fajardo.
They will be battling it out with the best of the Brits and for one it will be a night to remember as legend Dougie Lampkin MBE makes this his last performance at Sheffield. Dougie will be the only rider in the line-up to have appeared The best of the Brits will also be fighting it out to take to this years crown including back to back British Champion James Dabill (Beta), World number six Michael Brown (Gas Gas) and last years new boy Jack Challoner (Beta).
