Dogs could be put down if not rehomed

TIME is running out for two young dogs who will be put down if new owners can not be found for them.

Dog control officers at North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC) found an 18-month-old terrier cross named Roxy in North Wingfield, after her owners could no longer care for her.

She is great with children and other dogs, and is looking for a loving home as soon as possible as she has already overstayed her week in kennels.

Another dog needing a home is Jet, a one-year-old black and white collie cross who was found as a stray in Holmewood. He is also under threat after already staying his week in the kennels.

Could you help these precious pooches find a new home? Please call NEDDC’s Dog Control Officer Melvin North on 07816 913727 or Steve Jacques on 07866 690271 as soon as possible.
