Doggy walk to raise funds for charity
Dog–lovers and fundraisers alike are invited to take their four–legged friends for a council walk in aid of a local charity.
Wendy’s Wooftie Walk will take place on April 6, with proceeds going to Helen’s Trust, based in Bakewell.
The event was started in 2007 by Wendy Bowering, a Great Longstone resident and well known dog breeder, who was helped by the charity.

Hide AdBakewell’s mayor, Paul Morgans, will start the walk off with Wendy’s husband, Gordon, at Bakewell Station at 11am and Bakewell Pet Supplies supply doggy treats.
