THIS diamond duo danced into romance when they met at the Co-operative Hall in Chesterfield.
Ken and Pat Cox, both 82, of Walton, married 60 years ago at Staveley Parish Church.
The couple have two children, a son Tracy and daughter Leigh and four grandchildren.
Ken started work at 14 as an apprentice electrician at HC Bates before being called into the army where he served as a paratrooper in Germany.
The couple share several hobbies including gardening and a love of music and crafts.
Ken said the secret to their long and happy marriage was “give and take.”
