It’s a chilly start across the region today (April 23), with a widespread frost likely, but plenty of sunshine spells are expected throughout the morning.
According to the Met Office, the cloud will make an appearance in the afternoon with light showers likely for some, perhaps wintry over the top of the Pennines.
