Derbyshire students get debating at competition

Debating skills are alive and well in Derbyshire schools.

Highfields School sent two teams to Lady Manners School from year eight and year 12 for their annual debating competition.

The students in year eight debated about whether Britain should get rid of its nuclear weapons.

The year 12 team argued the case for restricting human rights in order to fight terrorism.
