DERBYSHIRE STABBING: Six arrested for affray

Six people have been arrested in a Derbyshire village after a man was stabbed and another punched and kicked.

Police were called to Prospect Road, in Pilsley at 8.30pm on Saturday.

A officer said a “neighbour dispute” had broken out.

An eye witness saw a man running down Prospect Road, with “blood pouring from his leg”.

A 21-year-old man was allegedly stabbed, suffering a minor puncture wound and 42-year-old man was allegedly punched and kicked.

A 21-year-old man from Broom Avenue, Pilsley, a 19-year-old woman from Whiteleas Avenue, North Wingfield, a 21-year-old man from Damon Close, Pilsley and a 42-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man all from Prospect Road, Pilsley have been arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed until August.
