Derbyshire set for sunshine but frost is on the way

The Met Office has forecast that early misty patches will clear to leave sunny but cold conditions around Derbyshire and the East Midlands, today, Wednesday, November 5.

Winds will drop later with temperatures falling sharply during the clear evening.

By tonight, the forecast is for a mainly clear dry night with mist and fog patches forming towards midnight.

However, widespread has been forecast for later.

The highest temperature is expected to reach nine degrees centigrade with the lowest falling to one degree centigrade.
