DERBYSHIRE: New jobs at housing company

Rykneld Homes has created a number of new jobs to strengthen their current workforce, in order to help them continue to deliver excellent housing andmaintenance services to council homes across North East Derbyshire.

The full time, permanent jobs include plasterers, painter and decorators, estate caretakers and cleaning operatives.

Rykneld Homes, who are based at Wingerworth in Chesterfield, manage and maintain 8,200 homes for North East Derbyshire District Council.

There are exciting times ahead for the company as they are delivering a £57m improvement programme to existing properties and for the first time in over 10 years are building new council homes on behalf of North East Derbyshire District Council.

Lee Bloomfield, director of Operations at Rykneld Homes said: “We’re passionate about delivering quality, first-class services to our tenants and part of this is having local people deliver local services. I’d encourage anyone with the necessary skills, drive and enthusiasm to join us in making these significant improvements to the homes and communities in North East Derbyshire.”
