Derbyshire motorists are being warned of delays after two accidents this morning.
Part of the A61 in Dronfield is currently closed near to Gunstone’s Bakery after a three-car collision. The accident happened at 6.30am when a Vauxhall Corsa, Toyota Yaris and Mini left the road and went down an embankment. No-one was injured.
Chesterfield Road in Staveley is also closed after a two-car accident at 7.40am. The accident involved a Nissan Micra and a Peugeot Partner. Police said no-one was seriously injured but the road remains closed.
The Highways Agency is also reporting delays of ten minutes due to heavy traffic on the M1 southbound between junctions J32 and J28.
