DERBYSHIRE: Man to be extradited from Spain in connection with allegations of sexual offences
Derbyshire police have worked with the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) and the Spanish police to trace a man who is wanted on suspicion of sexual offences.
The 85-year-old man was arrested in Tenerife on a European arrest warrant.
If an extradition is successful he will be returned to the UK where he will face charges related to alleged offences committed more than 40 years ago.
A further statement will be released after the man returns to Derbyshire.
