Five homes were flooded after a water main burst on a residential street.
Firefighters and engineers from Severn Trent were alerted to the incident on Mill Lane, Codnor, at about 10.45pm last night.
Crews spent the night pumping water away from the scene and affected properties.
A spokesman for Severn Trent said today: “Multiple teams have been on site overnight working hard to get this pipe fixed and everything back to normal as quickly as possible.
“We are happy to say that all customers should have water although some may have lower pressure than normal.
“We know how difficult it is to have lower water pressure and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing.
“We’d like to reassure our customers that we’re doing everything we can to get the water supplies back to normal as soon as we can.”
