Derbyshire Fire & Rescue crews have an afternoon of unusual call-outs

A busy afternoon in the Chesterfield area has given Derbyshire Fire & Rescue opportunity to demonstrate some of their more uncommon services.

Just before 2pm, a Staveley crew responded to a call from Mill Green Way in Clowne, and found a male whose arm had got trapped underneath the passenger seat of a car.

A few minutes later a Chesterfield crew attended Queen’s Park in Boythorpe Road, where they rescued a female who was stuck up a tree.

In between, colleagues in Bolsover managed to extinguish a bin fire on Chapel Road with a bucket of water.
