Derbyshire driver knocks boy off bike, leaving him injured, then drives off

An 11 year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike by a driver.

The youth was riding his bike on the pavement past Park House School on Rupert Street in Pilsley on October 4 at 3.25pm.

As he rode past a small green car the driver opened the door and knocked the boy off.

The female driver told him to get up and that he would be Ok and then drove off.

He received hospital treatment and suffered a broken elbow.

The woman was described as in her 30s, with dark-coloured long hair and was wearing a black polo shirt.
