Derbyshire Dales: New chairman looks forward to beautiful future
Good health and promoting the outstanding beauty of the Derbyshire Dales are the themes adopted by a new council chief.
Councillor Carol Walker, of Bakewell, has succeeded Cllr Peter Slack as chairman of the Derbyshire Dales District Council.
She said: “Health and beauty in our community is the theme of my civic year.”
Cllr Albert Catt has been appointed vice chairman of the district for the coming year.
