Derbyshire Dales forecast for heavy snow today.
While warnings of snow in the Matlock area melted away to nothing yesterday, The Met Office says residents should brace themselves for heavy snowfall later today.
Light snow has been forecast throughout the day, leading to heavy snow at around 6pm.
Motorists are still being advised to take extra care on the roads.
