Helen Gregory, 56, of Valley Road, Spital, Chesterfield, admitted three charges of engaging in unfair commercial practices. She allegedly kept tenants’ money by opting not to pay it into the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) – which was made a legal requirement by the Housing Act 2004.

Gregory was due to be sentenced in October last year, however it was postponed.

She is now due to be sentenced at Derby Crown Court on March 18 this year.
