DERBYSHIRE: Cyclists take part in DT charity ride for Ashgate Hospice

Charitable cyclists got on their bikes for Derbyshire Times’ Flagg Challenge for Ashgate Hospice.

Wheelie big-hearted fundraisers rolled out on the 50mile ride while others took on the 10mile ride.

Cyclists left the hospice at 9.30am today (Sunday, July 28) cheered on by supporters for a ride which will take in the views of Chatsworth House and testing climbs to Sheldon and Stanton-in-the-Peak.

Last year the ride raised over £7,500 in pledges for the charity.

Emmerdale actors Jamie Shelton and Rik Makarem are among those taking part in the 50mile cycle.
