Dales slimmers donate £2.5K of old baggy clothes
Successful slimmers in the Dales have been donating their baggy old clothes to Cancer Research UK as part of a new partnership.
Slimming World attendees at clubs in clubs in Matlock, Wirksworth and Ashbourne have already amassed a healthy 85 bags of clothes for the charity – which will raise in excess of £2,500 when sold in the shop.
Diane Evans, slimming consultant in Matlock, said: “I am so proud of my members for the weight they have lost and for donating so many of their now too big clothes for cancer research UK.”
