Women sought after theft from 82-year-old woman in Derbyshire town

The 82 year old was in Peacocks, on High Street, Ripley at around 11am on Thursday February 6 when she was stopped by the woman who asked her for her opinion on an outfit.

They finished their conversation and shortly after the victim went to the till to pay for her items, but realised cash and her pension book had been taken from her bag.

Investigators want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident taking place or who may recognise the women on the CCTV images.
