POLICE have charged a woman with four burglaries in Matlock Bath.
The 23-year-old, who is from Wirksworth, will appear before magistrates in Chesterfield next month.
She has been charged with burgling three homes in Orchard Road between October 26 and November 8 and one in Brunswood Road on October 10.
In each case, the burglar had sneaked in through unlocked doors or windows.
Community Safety Inspector Shaun Woodcock said: “I would urge residents to make sure doors and windows are locked before going to bed. Make it part of your daily routine.”
