An ambulance driver wearing a hazmat suit was spotted outside a Derbyshire police station – after three incident response vehicles arrived at the scene.

Emergency vehicles were seen travelling across Dale Road and up to Hardwick Square in Buxton before stopping at the station on Silverlands this morning.

The sighting sparked concerns it was another coronavirus case.

But Derbyshire Constabulary said East Midlands Ambulance Service had been on standby to help with an operation, for which ambulance assistance was not in the end required.
