Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit were over taken by a speeding Seat Leon yesterday while travelling on the M1 J29A.

A force spokesperson said: “Struggling to comprehend the stupidity, despite the pleas of the Government to stay home.

“Leon overtakes us on the motorway, speeding. No licence or insurance and an eight-month-old baby bouncing about on passengers lap.”

The car was seized by police.
