The women, aged 48 and 20, and a 22-year-old man, all from the Shirebrook area, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Sergeant Mark Church, of Derbyshire Constabulary, said: “Officers from our safer neighbourhood policing teams and operational support teams worked together to carry out this warrant based on information from the local community, and this warrant shows our efforts to target illegal drug activity and keep our communities safe despite the current climate.

“Without the support and help of the local community this wouldn’t be possible and I would ask that people get in touch with us if they see any suspicious or unusual activity in their neighbourhood as it really helps us to target anti-social behaviour and keep our area safe.”

Unusual activity could include people coming and going from an address and at odd times of the day and night, cars pulling up near to a house for a short period of time and strange smells.
