Six people charged in Shirebrook drugs raids

Six people have been charged with drug offences after police swooped on homes across Shirebrook.

The charges follow a series of warrants which were executed across the town on Tuesday (July 7) as part of an operation to tackle the supply of illegal substances in the town.

The following people were arrested on suspicion of drug offences on the day and have now been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Adam Betts, 31, of Ruddington Court, Mansfield

Brett Copestake, 37, of Swanwick Avenue, Shirebrook

Scott Copestake, 44, of Prospective Drive, Shirebrook

Thomas Carlisle, 28, and Melissa Mikosz, 30, both of Church Drive, Shirebrook

Georgia Vincent, 21, of New Scott Street, Whaley Thorns

Georgia Vincent has also been charged with converting criminal property.

Thomas Carlisle and Melissa Mikosz also face additional charges of converting criminal property and possessing criminal property.

Mr Carlisle is due to appear at Chesterfield Justice Centre on August 5.

The remaining five people will appear on October 21.
