Despicable vandals have sprayed graffiti on a horse’s face.

Sometime between 5pm on Saturday, October 24 and 8am the following morning, offenders gained entry to a paddock on Main Road in Unstone.

They used pink spray paint to draw on a horse’s face and on to a rug covering another animal.

During the same time, graffiti, in the same bright pink colour, was also sprayed on to a building and a vehicle on the forecourt of a car sales business on Main Road.

The graffiti depicts a number of slogans including ‘blade’ and ‘2075 on tour’.

Similar vandalism has been spotted on local signage, on a bus shelter in the village, on a wall outside Unstone Junior School and on on play equipment and park furniture at Whittington Lane park.

Anyone with information, including anyone or who recognises the tags used, should call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
