Shirebrook murder probe: three bailed as murder inquiry continues

Three people have been released on police bail after they were arrested in connection with an ongoing murder investigation.

The investigation was launched following the death of Andrew Jackson in Shirebrook on Sunday January 26.

Mr Jackson who was 55-years-old, was discovered at around 10am that day at an allotment, off Prospect Drive.

Since Thursday last week (30 January) six people have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 51-year-old woman, a 44-year-old man and a 26-year-old man having now been bailed.

Three other men aged 27, 37 and 39 remain in police custody.
