Sentimental jewellery taken from a Stretton home.


Burglars took a gold sovereign on a gold chain and an antique pearl necklace after breaking into a house on Main Road through the conservatory.

The sovereign coin sits between bevelled glass, which is cracked and is more than 180 years old.

Offenders took a pearl necklace with a silver clasp and a silver ring inset with a single large pearl, as well as cash.

The burglary happened sometime between 6pm and 9pm on Monday, August 24.
