Robber confronts shop worker in Brimington raid

A terrified shop worker handed over cash after a hooded robber raided a Brimington shop.

The man went in to the service station on High Street at 5am today (Friday, December 27).

He walked up to the counter, grabbed the 58-year-old assistant by the top and demanded money.

She struggled before handing over notes from the till. He then made off.

He was wearing a grey coat with the hood up and zipped up to cover his face and tracksuit bottoms.

Witnesses should call police on 101.
