TWO valuable bikes have been stolen in a shop burglary.

JE James Cycles in Chesterfield was broken into by balaclava-clad men at 2.20am on Friday morning.

A Lapierre Zesty 914 carbon fibre mountain bike with full suspension, worth £4,800, and a Kona Stinky Air full suspension bike worth £3,000 were taken.

Store manager Dean Poole said a reward was been offered for information leading to a conviction.

“They knew exactly what they were after”, he said.

“The main bike is pretty much the most expensive one we’ve got in the store.”

Call police on 0345 123 3333 or the shop on 01246 453453.
