Pricey bike stolen in Chesterfield house theft

Officers investigating a burglary in Chesterfield are appealing for information in connection with the theft of a high value bike.

Sometime between Thursday, July 24 and Friday, August 1 offenders gained entry via a side door of a property in Barton Crescent, Chesterfield.

Along with the family car (which was later recovered), a number of pedal cycles, cycling medals and a unique racing bike was stolen.

The owner is appealing for particular help to trace the specialised racing bike which is described as a Black Hotta T time trial bike and is used for competitions.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who has information about the theft or been offered a bike matching the description that they believe could be stolen.
