Precious items swiped in Chesterfield house burglary
Police are investigating after cash, a watch and a handbag were stolen during the burglary of a house in Chesterfield.
The items, which included a long strapped blue GiGi handbag and a silver metal Seiko with an engraving of David, were stolen from a house in Blandford Drive, Newbold, between 11am on August 16 and 8am the following day.
A number of stolen items were found dumped in Blandford Drive the following day after being emptied of their contents.
Derbyshire police officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen any thing out of the ordinary during these times or has been offered either of the distinctive items for sale, to get in touch with the force.
