Officers investigating a daylight burglary at a farm in Renishaw have released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the crime.
Derbyshire Constabulary has confirmed that some time between 12.45pm and 5.25pm, on Monday, August 12, thieves smashed a ground floor window of a farmhouse which is in a rural location off Syday Lane in the village and stole jewellery.
Police investigating the burglary have released CCTV footage of two men seen near the farm around the time of the break-in.
The force stated it would like to be able to speak to the men in connection with the crime.
A police spokesman said: “If anyone recognises the men in the images released they should call Derbyshire Constabulary or Crimestoppers with any details which could help the on-going police investigation into the burglary.”
One of the men is described as white, of a stocky build, with a shaved head and facial hair.
He was wearing a dark-coloured jumper, dark-coloured jeans and dark-coloured shoes.
The other man is described as being of slim build and wearing a grey-coloured hooded top and grey jogging bottoms.
He is wearing his hooded top up and is pulling it closely round his face.
Anyone with information or who recognises the men in the images are urged to call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101 or can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
