Police raid suspected cannabis factory at Chesterfield warehouse

Police have raided a warehouse in Chesterfield suspected of being a cannabis factory.

The warehouse, which is off Meltham Lane behind the Arnold Clark car showroom, was raided by officers this morning.

In a photo shared with the Derbyshire Times, police can be seen removing plants and equipment from the warehouse.

An eyewitness who didn’t want to be named said officers had found ‘lots and lots’ of cannabis at the site.

Derbyshire Police have yet to comment on the incident.
