Derbyshire police has issued a warning to motorists driving through Pikehall ahead of this weekend's Y Not Festival.
The festival kicks off today, and police are warning that roads in the area will be busier than usual. Motorists are being advised to plan extra time for their journey, or if possible, to use an alternative route.
The A5012, the main road to the festival, is particularly busy with HGVs, especially quarry traffic. Police said: "Please be patient if you are behind one of these lorries.
"It's a long and winding road. Only overtake when it's absolutely safe to do so."

In a tweet, police have also reminded festival-goers that drugs are prohibited. Amnesty bins will be placed at the start of the queue to get in, and there will be another chance to get rid of drugs at the gate.
"After that, if drugs are found on you, your #YNot2018 ends there and you could be arrested," police said.
