No arrests were made during today’s activity. A 30-year-old man and 33-year-old woman will be interviewed under caution at a later date.

Inspector Gordon Fenwick, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “As today’s warrants show we will act on community intelligence. “I hope it reassures our communities that when they tell us about their concerns, we listen.

“Drug use and the cultivation of drugs harm so many people, often affecting our vulnerable and young people, and properties being used to cultivate cannabis are often targeted by organised crime groups as well,.

“We will continue to target illegal drug activity and we are committed to doing everything we can to help keep our communities safe.

“The support of and help of the local community is vital to this work and I would encourage people to let us know about any suspicious or unusual activity in their area so that we can target criminal or anti-social behaviour.

“Unusual activity could include people coming and going at odd times of the day and night, strange smells, windows covered up and cars pulling up near to a house for a short period of time.”
