Police call for help to identify nuisance bikers in Dronfield

Police in Dronfield are appealing for help from the community to try and identify nuisance off road bikers.

It follows concerns about motorcyclists riding off road and causing anti-social or nuisance behaviour in the area.

Inspector Glenn Hoggard, who is in charge of policing in the North East Derbyshire area, said: “We understand that off-road bikers can cause concerns around nuisance and safety, so we are asking local residents to report incidents to us and information which might help us to identify any individuals involved in this type of behaviour.

“We will take positive action, and will not tolerate any kind of anti-social behaviour on bikes especially when it is inconsiderate and dangerous, and causes concern for the community.”

Anyone with information should call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
