Police appeal for 'Hasland heroes' to come forward

Police investigating an alleged serious assault in Hasland are appealing for two Good Samaritans who helped the victim to come forward.

The alleged incident occurred at around 4am on September 24, when police believe a 22-year-old man was punched, causing him to fall to the floor, and then kicked several times to the head and face.

Two members of the public came to his aid and drove him to the hospital and officers are now appealing to those two men to come forward as witnesses.
