Police appeal after man threatens and demands money from dog walker in Brimington

Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog walker was threatened by a man who demanded money from him in Brimington on Saturday afternoon.

The 37-year-old man was walking his dog when he went to withdraw cash from the ATM outside the Co-op store in High Street at around 3pm on August 21.

Shortly after this, he was approached by a man who threatened him and demanded money.

The man then followed the victim along Church Street and as far as Chesterfield Road, repeatedly making threats along the way.

He is described as white, of stocky build, with short brown hair.

He was wearing a cream jacket, dark-coloured jogging bottoms and slider sandals.
