Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit tweeted that Luke Whitbred, of Grasmere Close in Newbold, had received a 16-month disqualification and was ordered to pay a total of £485 in costs and fines.

Police had initially tweeted in July after stopping the vehicle, to say: "How not to celebrate an #England win by getting nicked for drink driving after watching the game. #DontDrinkAndDrive #WorldCup"
