A man who went missing from Scotland has been found safe and well in the Chesterfield area after a police media appeal.
Kenneth Thomson, 54, had been reported missing from Beattock, near Lockerbie, from Wednesday, April 29.
Scottish police appealed to Derbyshire Constabulary to release a media appeal to help find Mr Thomson after it was believed he had travelled to Chesterfield.
A police spokesman said: “Mr Thomson has since been found safe and well in the Chesterfield area.
“Police would like to thank members of the public for their support.”
