Men force their way into house and threaten occupants in Somercotes

Police are appealing for information after three men forced their way into a house in Somercotes house and threatened the occupants.

On Thursday, December 1 at 9.10pm a woman knocked on the door of a house on Birchwood Lane. The woman briefly spoke to an occupant at the house before leaving.

About 15 minutes there was another knock on the door. When answered three men forced their way in.

They made demands and threatened the occupants before leaving the property empty handed.

The woman was described as white, in her late 30s, between 5ft 6 to 5ft 8ins tall and was wearing a hat.

One of the men was described as white, in his 20s, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 11ins tall and of a stocky build. He was wearing a navy blue coloured hooded top with the hood worn up.

The other two men were described as black and were both around 6ft tall. One was wearing a grey hooded top with the hood worn up with black writing across the front. The other was wearing baggy clothing.

The men made off down Langley Avenue.
