A man has been imprisoned after he stole construction equipment outside a house in Chesterfield.

Liam Rough, 31, was jailed for six weeks for the theft of a wacker plate and wheelbarrow. The man, formerly of Green Farm Close, Holme Hall, pleaded guilty to theft by finding at Chesterfield Justice Centre after admitting he took the construction equipment from outside a house in Newbold.
