Man charged over bringing knife to Chesterfield surgery

A 30-year-old man has been charged over allegations he took a knife into a doctors’ surgery in Chesterfield.

Police were called to the Grange Family Health Centre, on Stubbing Road, Chesterfield, on Monday, October 20, at about 3pm, where they arrested a man on suspicion of having a sharply bladed article in a public place.

Callum Bostock, of no fixed abode, has been charged with being in possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He is due to appear at Chesterfield Magistrates’ Court next month.
